Elvis Presley, the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign, fuzzy dice dangling from rearview mirror—in Las Vegas icons are people, places, and things—everywhere except the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Arts. Here, the exhibition ICONS of Contemporary Art, invites visitors to consider a more imaginative interpretation of the word. The celebrated approach of artists like George Condo, Frank Stella, Esther Mahlangu, and Yoshitaka Amano in combination with visual mediums from metalworking, motion pictures, and even embroidery contribute to a must-see collection of modern masterpieces. This limited time exhibit, which emphasizes the beautification of the mundane, the ritualization of ceremonial tradition, and the individuality of the human experience is open daily until March 31 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. bellagio.mgmresorts.com
